August 10- Sept. 1 (8 sessions)- Zooming Down the Road Again!

Mondays & Tuesdays, August 10 - September 1
5 - 7 PM (8 classes)
Eight classes, four locations, four new techniques each week. Because of the possibility of social distancing guidelines, this class will be expanded to two sessions each week. Mondays classes will be online for critiques and Tuesdays class will be in the field shooting. We will explore creative shutter speed, black and white, abstract and low light photography on our photo shoots.

August 13,14- The Art of the Personal Project with Eileen (Please note that this workshop is based on time in the UK and not US EST.  We would love for you to join us, but the first morning will be an early start for US citizens.  We will be offering this workshop in the US in the next few months.)

August 20- Low Light Photography at Ft. Adams with Cindy- Back by popular demand!
Don't miss this great opportunity to go behind the scenes in this historic fortress. Explore the officer's quarters, tunnels and see great views of Narragansett Bay from the ramparts. As an added bonus, we will explore the Second Redoubt, which only recently was reclaimed from poison ivy.

Students in this workshop will practice low light photography techniques, long exposures and interpreting interior spaces in their images.

A Scott Kelby talk on thinking. I used to be an event photographer (mostly sailing) and so the subject was already defined. I think "going out to find a picture" is a very daunting task indeed. It has always been that way for me. Just ask me about my 36 shots of milkweed. I was sure there had to be a keeper in there somewhere. This video, after the quick composition lesson, was a lesson and a big moral builder for me. Also, if you aren't doing it for a living, you must be doing it for fun, so have some!
